WRS Solutions staff member Vicki Owen “braves the shave” for her chosen cancer charity in honour of her sister.
“It is a very painful experience to see a loved one suffer and in some cases be taken too soon because of this awful disease. My hope is that we can raise funds to support the amazing nurses who help so selflessly in caring for cancer sufferers and give them the care and dignity they so deserve. I am having my head shaved to show my support in the knowledge that some people who go through chemo have no choice in losing their hair. My sister Sue was not one of the lucky survivors and was one of the most giving loving people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and having as part of my life, so I am doing this also as this is something she would have supported”.
