Here is a brief overview of some of the associated CCTV technology.
This technology allows for proactive surveillance, enabling your security personnel to deter crime. It has the capability to detect trespassers or loiterers and notify a guard or control room.
The edge based applications are scalable and help reduce bandwidth and storage use, this is achieved by only recording and sending video that is of interest.
Some of the other great applications of this technology is in the use of analytics to have auto-tracking of people and vehicles, license plate recognition (LPR), “cross-line detection” which is a great solution for creating a virtual fence around your site, people counting and many other uses.
This allows the camera to combat potential problems which may be caused by lighting conditions and shadows as the images created are based around the heat trace from a person or vehicle.
This software is used to match faces within real-time video from a previously stored set of facial images.
These faces can be categorised to your specific requirements for VIP detection, access control solutions and to alert that a wanted individual is on site.
